How to shop for a friend

For my friend Josh's 18th Birthday, i decided to personalise a beer mug, i forgot to take a picture of the final product, but i made a few changes. Filling the mug with Chupa Chup lollipops & party poppers. I also stuck an 18 sticker on the back of the mug!

Simone's Birthday

I missed one of my besties birthday's because i was in Spain, so the week before i went on holiday we went for a day out shopping and grabbed a bite to eat at Wagamamas. She chose what she wanted, but to add a personal touch i also gave her a picture frame and inside her card i put the choice of two pictures to put in the frame.

If all else fails, and you really don't know what to get your friend, head out for a shopping trip and let your friend choose for her/him self or just see what they like and go back to buy it.

So, here are just a few gift ideas. And gifts I've given the past month. I don't know about you, but two months out of the year are jam packed full of Birthdays! It's like, everyone i know has a Birthday in July or/ September! As much as i love the celebration process.. It's a dreaded month for my piggy bank.. !

Just think about what your friend is into, what reminds you of them? Making things personal makes the best impact, and your gift will be remembered! :)

Clear skin

Beauty tip number uno - Clean EVERYTHING!

My BEST friend is my Carex bacteria killing hand gel! I use it to clean EVERYTHING. Everything i touch. We touch our faces without even realising we're doing it! In order to keep/achieve that clear skin, keep that extra oil, dirt - bacteria AWAY from your skin.
I clean my laptop, mobile phone, camera, ipod and headphones! (I would even disinfect my cat if i could, in some nice -none animal harming way!)

So basically stay as clean -bacteria free (Y) as possible. Also drink plenty of water !
- Don't tell me you don't like water!
If you care enough about your skin then, i dunno force it. Starve yourself of liquids until you cant wait to drink that sucker!

OR you could just try Coconut water, it's just as good for you! I saw an interview with Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, one of her beauty tips was drinking Coconut water! Give it a try..!

Not that I'm against investing in professional makeup brush cleaners, but if your interested in saving money, with something that lasts much longer. Try disinfecting your makeup brushes using surgical spirits. Available in Boots pharmacies.

A friend of mine who works for Boots, told me that the makeup department use surgical spirits to disinfect the brushes they use after makeovers.

The vintage guitar.

My Pa just gave me his old guitar. It got so battered .. and rusted over time. It only has three stings left standing! but it's beautiful! I can't wait to have it back from the shop, re stringed and ready to play.

Kinda strange that it inspired me in a fashion way. I'm such a hoarder sometimes.. I'm planning on re -using more vintage things from mine.. or my Sister's childhood that i cant seem to get rid of!

Cupcakes and candy

Hi guys. So. I just came back from my holiday in Spain and I went and did a little shopping for my room, I came across this cute Cupcake Magnetic Noteboard. (i'm so old fashioned, even though i have a blackberry i can't break my habbit of writing things down by hand... atleast i have a cute pen!)

Whilst i was on holiday i missed my bestie Simone's 19th birthday.. before i went we spent the weekend shopping, we bought these Punky allsorts candy braclets... i've wanted one for SO LONG!

Also this week i put my photoshop skills to the test and created a lable for my sister's Skittle vodka.. Check it out!
Anyway guys! I have a photoshoot at 10AM tomorrow.. i better get to sleep!.. I'll post the photos soon!
